Director of Information and Data

Full Time, Permanent Role

Location: York, with travel to other sites

Salary: £61,712 per annum

Askham Bryan College is a specialist land-based College, with a new vision and strategic plan to take it forward to 2030. With exciting new capital projects including an Institute of Technology and a digital skills bid that will transform learning for our students.

The Director of Information and Data is a new, senior post whose role will be to strategically lead on all aspects of information and data in the College and to lead the college on the implementation of a new integrated student records system by July 2022. This role will bring together MIS, student records and IT for the digital transformation that the college needs to drive forward this crucial agenda. The role will embed new ways of working by implementing new systems in this new dynamic environment.

We require a high-calibre, senior level leader with a proven record in systems implementation, funding and information services, who can demonstrate the ability to lead in the areas for which they are responsible.

The successful candidate will be innovative, outward-looking and dynamic; someone who understands technology and information services and can bring people together to lead transformational change to improve the staff and students’ experiences.
