Student Applications Officer
Permanent, Full Time – 37 hours per week, 52 weeks a year
Salary: £17,274 - £18,708 per annum, dependent upon experience
Askham Bryan College is a specialist land-based college based in the North of England across a number of centres. We offer a wide-ranging curriculum to our Further Education students, including Agriculture, Horticulture, Animal Management, Countryside and the Environment, Engineering, Equine, Floristry, Motorsport, Outdoor Adventure Sport, Sports Development, Coaching and Fitness, Uniformed Public Services and Veterinary Nursing. We also have a thriving University Centre at York offering a range of courses from Foundation degrees to Masters level.
We have an exciting opportunity for a Student Applications Officer to join our Marketing Department here at York following the current postholder successfully moving on to a new role.
The successful candidate will assist with the processing of student applications working within the Student Recruitment and Applications Team.
Educated to GCSE level or above in Maths and English, you will have experience of working within a busy office environment inputting and processing large volumes of data. You will have experience of dealing with enquiries and liaising with both work colleagues and the general public. You will be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office software with an awareness of GDPR and the confidentiality of student application information.
