Askham Bryan College is a specialist land-based college based across the North of England.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Wildlife Park Education and Retail Assistant with a passion for animals and the natural world and great customer service skills to join our Wildlife Park Team here at our York campus. This role will be working on a variable hour contract, hours vary depending on Wildlife Park activity must be able to work weekends, holidays and evenings. However this role is mostly for holidays.

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate excellent customer service skills and have a passion for the natural world and animals, you will be able to follow instruction and have health and safety always in mind. Duties include being a welcoming face at front of house and helping to run our educational events throughout the year, from hosting schools/groups, public talks and delivering excellent keeper experiences for our guests.

Educated to Level 2 or above in a relevant subject, with a Level 2 Numeracy and Literacy qualification, in return you will receive a generous holiday allowance, ample free parking, canteen facilitates and a range of employee benefits.
