The role of Lecturer in Sport – Outdoor Adventure at York offers a fantastic opportunity for the right person to be a key part of our provision, with exciting opportunities for growth and career progression. 

We have an exciting opportunity for a Lecturer in Sport and Public Services to join our Sport & Public Services team in York. This role will be working on a full-time, permanent basis (37hrs per week). You will be working in a hard-working, enthusiastic and evolving department and have a great opportunity to put your own stamp on future developments.

We are seeking an individual who will be responsible for the delivery of Sport and Public Service qualifications. Sector experience and technical qualifications related to industry are essential.

The successful candidate will deliver a range of units and levels across our Sport and Public Service provision, receiving opportunities to develop their own teaching with our in-house Advanced Teaching and Learning Coaches. As well as the opportunity to access sector specific CPD.

With experience in the outdoor industry and a passion for what you do, you may not have experience in teaching, but must be willing to work in a dynamic and challenging environment that is exciting, engaging and rewarding. Above all, you will be ready to learn and keen to positively influence the future of our students.
