Progress Tutor- Inclusive Learning

37 Hours a week, 1FTE (42 weeks)
Salary: £22,284 - £24,194 pro-rata
We are looking to recruit a Progress Tutor to work within our Inclusive Learning department and with a cohort of students to deliver group sessions on topics such as Prevent and British Values, life skills and mental health and wellbeing among many others. The tutors will also be responsible for supporting the students pastorally and monitoring their progress and attendance in one to one tutorial sessions.
Working closely with curriculum, Student Services Team, Inclusive Learning, Quality Team and Work Placement Teams, you will be responsible for ensuring each student has the life skills and knowledge they need to be move on to their next stage and equipped with the skills to keep themselves safe when they leave our College.
To be successful in this role, you should be enthusiastic and passionate about students achieving their potential and in working supportively to remove any barriers they may face along the way. You will have a deep and grounded knowledge of students with SEND and EHCP’s and have experience in supporting these students. You will be a team player but be able to adapt to working independently when necessary. We welcome applicants who can bring new ideas to the role of Progress Tutor as well as being fully embedded into Inclusive Learning and the Student Services team.
