08:00 – 16:00 Monday to Thursday and 08:00 – 15:30 Friday

Term time only plus INSET days

Salary: Grade E (points 07-11) £20,092 - £21,748 pro rata, Actual salary is £17,130

FTE 0.8526.

We are looking to recruit an exceptional candidate to the role of Cover Supervisor to join our team at Magna Academy and run our breakfast and after school provision.

The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising lessons during the short absence of the normal class teacher. They will be required to cover any subject for which work will be set in advance. Previous experience of working in the classroom would be an advantage but training and support will be provided. The post may be of interest to those wishing to gain experience prior to a career in teaching.

Ultimately, we are looking for a committed candidate with an uncompromising belief that all students deserve an outstanding education. They will uphold our inclusive ethos and provide opportunities for all students to progress well.

The post is to start as soon as possible and term time only including INSET days. The hours are 37 per week 08:00 – 16:00 Monday – Thursday and 08:00 – 15:30 Friday.
