Intervention Assistant and Aspirant Teacher

Scale/Grade 4 (points 7 to 10 of the pay spine)

Salary - £22,995-£24,258 per annum FTE pro rata; (Actual Salary £18,515–£19,532)

Location: Feltham, West London

Contract Term: Permanent

Contract Type: Full-Time, term time contract, 34 hours a week term time based (39 weeks)

An exciting opportunity has become available for the post of Intervention Assistant and Aspirant Teacher at Rivers Academy.

The general responsibilities of this role will be to establish professional relationships with pupils, parents and teachers and to support them in establishing a supportive and nurturing learning environment in which children make good academic progress, to promote inclusion and acceptance of all pupils in the school, including those with physical, learning and behaviour difficulties and to understand and develop expertise in their field, during a time of change
