Onsite IT Technician
Location - Wykham Park, Banbury
Salary - £22,183- £27,741 per annum, depending on experience.
Hours – Full time, Permanent 37 hours a week
Aspirations Academies Trust is looking to recruit an onsite IT Technician to be based at Wykham Park Academy, Banbury.
This role will be pivotal in providing the Academy with an effective and efficient IT support service.
Reporting into the Regional Technical Manager, as an IT Technician you will be required to assist the service desk with the delivery of the ICT managed support service, provide school-based users with technical assistance, fault Diagnosis and Hardware/Software Support and Perform routine service delivery tasks.
We are looking for someone who has at least 2-3 years’ experience in IT Desktop/Hardware support and experience of PC maintenance and repair. You will need a good understanding of network infrastructure, network hardware, storage, server virtualisation (Hyper-V), backup technologies, anti-virus, Microsoft Deployment Toolkit (MDT) and Google G Suite.
Experience with Windows 10, Windows Server 2012/2016/2019, desktop hardware (laptops and MacBooks), portable devices (iPads, Android), Chromebooks, multi-function printers is also important for this positon.
This role will be based at Wykham Park Academy but on occasions you may be required to work across the other three Academies within the Region.
