Are you passionate about working with children and have the ability to inspire learning and support development? If so, then we would really like to meet you!

We are looking to appoint highly motivated Learning Support Assistants to join our team. You should be a positive and enthusiastic person who loves working with children and helping them to strive for their best.

You should have a high standard of general education with good numeracy and literacy skills. You will be able to communicate effectively with children and adults, have a flexible attitude, good sense of humour and be friendly and approachable. Experience of working with children, good time management and the ability to work flexibly using your own initiative are essential.

The main focus of the role is to provide 1:1 support to pupils in receipt of high needs funding, but your responsibilities may include: -

● Supporting children in achieving the lesson objectives in English, Maths and across all areas of the curriculum

● Leading 1:1 and group intervention programmes

All applications will be considered and while SEN and ELSA experience would be an advantage, it is not essential as relevant training will be given to the right candidate.

Experience of working with children with Down Syndrome or Autism is desirable but not essential. Training or experience delivering Attention Autism, Signalong, PECS, PEIC-D, Precision Teaching, ELSA interventions is also desirable but not essential.

Children will be at the heart of your work. You must be able to demonstrate that you understand the importance of educating the whole child, that you want the very best for them and are prepared to put their needs first.

Our curriculum follows the Aspirations ‘No Limits’ approach with a philosophy that the curriculum delivered should provide an authentic education for the world today. Our children need to develop and build on the knowledge and skills that will ensure their education prepares them for all stages of school life and beyond.
