Head of Governance and Compliance
Grade 13, Range: £63,299 - £67,812
Full-time or Part-time Considered
Aspire Learning Partnership is seeking to appoint an experienced and highly organised professional to lead governance, compliance and organisational assurance across our growing Trust.
This is a senior strategic role working directly with the CEO, Trustees, Governors and school leaders to ensure the Trust meets its statutory, regulatory and funding obligations while maintaining the highest standards of governance, accountability and compliance.
As a growing multi-academy trust, we are looking for someone who can develop robust systems and processes that support both our existing schools and future expansion. The successful candidate will play a central role in shaping governance and compliance arrangements as additional schools join the Trust.
Whilst governance and compliance are the primary focus of the role, there may be opportunities for candidates with suitable experience to take on additional strategic HR and workforce assurance responsibilities as part of a full-time position.
We are looking for:
• An experienced governance, compliance, assurance or risk management professional.
• Someone with experience of supporting Boards, Trustees, Governors or senior leadership teams.
• A strong understanding of governance, risk management, regulatory compliance and organisational assurance.
• Excellent communication, report-writing and relationship-building skills.
• The ability to influence and support leaders at all levels.
• Experience within the education sector.
• A commitment to supporting the continued growth and success of Aspire Learning Partnership.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a developing Trust at an exciting stage in its journey. As the Trust continues to grow and welcome new schools, the role will evolve, providing significant opportunity for the successful candidate to shape and develop a key strategic function within the organisation.
Prospective candidates are warmly encouraged to contact us for an informal discussion about the role and its future development. Contact details can be found in the information pack.
