Avanti House Primary School is seeking a passionate and reflective Yoga Teacher to join our nurturing and forward-thinking team.

You will design and deliver engaging yoga sessions tailored to pupils’ needs and abilities, while contributing positively to our wider school life and culture.

What will you do?
- Deliver high-quality, inclusive yoga sessions that support pupils’ wellbeing, personal growth, and physical development, tailored to individual needs and abilities.
- Build respectful and supportive relationships with pupils, colleagues, and families in line with the school’s ethos, while maintaining high professional standards.
- Use observation and assessment to monitor pupil progress, provide feedback, and adapt teaching strategies to ensure effective learning outcomes.
- Uphold a safe, engaging, and well-managed learning environment, encouraging positive behaviour, independence, and mutual respect.
- Promote and safeguard the welfare of students, ensuring compliance with school policies and protocols.

What are we looking for?
- Qualified to bachelor’s degree level in relevant or allied subject
- QTS Qualified
- Able to self-start, work independently and collaboratively as part of a team- whether led or leading
- A belief in the unique potential of every student
- Excellent organisational skills and ability to delegate
- Commitment to the safeguarding and welfare of all students
