Ysgol Bae Baglan is seeking to appoint an inspirational, dynamic and suitably qualified full-time Teacher of Maths from January 2027. This is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in an all through 3–16 school that has served its community since opening to pupils in September 2016.
Ysgol Bae Baglan benefits from outstanding 21st century facilities that support innovative, forward thinking approaches to teaching and learning. These facilities enable pupils to develop the skills, confidence and resilience needed to play an active and successful role in society. Our wider provision ensures that all learners are fully included in curricular and extra curricular opportunities and are given the support they need to reach their full potential.
In our most recent inspection report, Ysgol Bae Baglan was recognised as a supportive and inclusive learning community, where positive relationships underpin pupils’ wellbeing and progress. Inclusion is central to our ethos.
Neath Port Talbot Council is totally committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. Our schools are equally committed to ensuring the safety and protection of all children and young people and will take action to safeguard their wellbeing.
The recruitment process for this post will be underpinned by rigorous safer recruitment assessment to ensure that children and young people are protected.
