Science Technician
37 hours per week, term time plus 1 week - 8am till 4pm Monday - Friday
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a strong candidate to ensure that a safe, effective and efficient laboratory technical service is provided for use by students and staff. The successful candidate will provide technical advice and assistance in the classroom, to support students and to assist teaching staff with the provision of learning activities. We are looking for an organised individual who works effectively in a demanding environment.

THE RIGHT CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:
- A recognised and relevant Science qualification
- GCSE English and Maths at grade C or 4 and above
- Working knowledge of laboratory preparation techniques and procedures
- A high level of communication skills and the ability to relate positively to children and adults
- The ability to use relevant technology/equipment
- A can-do attitude
- A commitment to the happiness well-being, self-esteem and progress of everyone at the school
