This is a rare opportunity for a highly motivated, learner-focused, inspirational Catering and Hospitality Teacher to join our outstanding curriculum team. The role involves delivering lessons to students from Level 1 - Level 3 in culinary skills. You will support learners through their learning journey, sharing industry knowledge and experience to inspire students to work in the catering and hospitality industry.
Our new Catering and Hospitality Teacher will join and work alongside an outstanding, close-knit team that consists of a Programme Manager, Course leader, Teachers and a Tutorial Learning Mentor, as well as technical support both in the curriculum and commercial restaurant. The department has teaching kitchens and a commercial restaurant, providing our learners with valued work experience and a realistic environment to work in. This supports students with their personal development and gives them knowledge of how the industry works the expectations of the industry as well as preparing them for future employment of higher education.
The successful candidate will require relevant experience as a chef working in industry. Trainee or Newly-Qualified Teachers (NQT) will be considered for this role, with full training and support provided.
