Barnsley College is an anchor institution dedicated to fostering academic excellence, innovation, and community engagement. We are seeking a creative and experienced Director of PR, Marketing and Communications to join us on a 12-month maternity cover contract.
The opportunity
The Director of PR, Marketing and Communications is responsible for the development and execution of strategic initiatives to enhance the college’s visibility, reputation and engagement with key stakeholders. You will oversee a team of Marketing professionals to develop and advance comprehensive marketing strategies aligned with the college's goals and objectives, whilst managing budgets to ensure cost-effective use of resources.
As part of the College’s Senior Management Team, our Director of PR, Marketing and Communications will cultivate strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders and collaborate with internal departments to ensure consistent messaging and branding across all communications. This includes overseeing the creation and dissemination of engaging content across relevant platforms, and leading PR efforts to promote the college’s programmes, events and achievements.

About you
