The Opportunity
You will deliver inspiring and specialist teaching across a wide range of Computing disciplines. You will teach areas such as Artificial Intelligence, Software Development, Cyber Security and Networking, supporting learners aged 16–18, adult learners and those in higher education. Through your teaching, you will help our students build the skills, knowledge and confidence they need to move on to further study, apprenticeships or careers in the digital sector.
You will create a positive and engaging learning environment where our students feel encouraged to take ownership of their learning and challenge themselves. By bringing real-world context into the classroom and using digital tools and industry-standard software, you will make lessons relevant, enjoyable and accessible to all learners. Alongside your teaching, you will assess progress, give constructive feedback and guide students in achieving both their personal and academic goals.
You will also contribute to shaping and developing the curriculum, ensuring it reflects the latest industry trends and employer expectations. You may also take on the role of personal tutor, supporting our learners with both academic and pastoral needs. By working closely with colleagues and external partners, you will play an active part in enriching the learner experience and strengthening links between education and the world of work.
This is a great opportunity to teach a wide range of Computing disciplines, including AI, software development, networking, and cybersecurity, giving your expertise a real impact across diverse learner groups—from 16–18 students to adults and higher education learners.
About You
We are seeking a candidate who is passionate about Computing and committed to delivering high-quality teaching that engages and motivates learners. You will have a degree (or equivalent qualification) in a relevant subject and either hold a teaching qualification or be willing to work towards a PGCE if you do not already have a Level 5 qualification.
You will bring at least two years’ experience either working within an education setting or in the digital sector. Your expertise should include practical experience in areas such as Cyber Security, Programming, Networking, or Machine Learning, and the ability to translate that knowledge into engaging, real-world learning experiences for learners of different ages and abilities.
The ideal candidate is adaptable, approachable, and committed to continuous professional development. You will enjoy collaborating with colleagues, contributing to curriculum design, and building strong links with external partners to enhance the learner experience. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential, as you will provide both academic guidance and pastoral support to your learners. Above all, you are dedicated to helping our learners reach their potential, supporting them to achieve their goals and prepare for further study or careers in the digital sector.

Required
• Degree (or equivalent qualification) in a relevant subject
• Teaching qualification (must be willing to work towards PGCE if Level 5 not already held)
• GCSE Maths and English (or equivalent Level 2 qualification)
• 2 years’ experience of working within an education setting or working in the Digital sector
• Experience with Cyber security, Programming, Networking or Machine Learning
