The Cabot Learning Federation is a diverse Multi-Academy Trust (MAT) in the South West. We currently sponsor eight secondary academies, nine primary academies, an all through provision, a studio school, a discrete Post 16 provision and an alternative provision which consists of one primary and three secondary phases.

This exciting opportunity offers the chance to undertake an Assistant Principal role within Bristol Brunel Academy. The successful candidate will bring a leadership experience and acumen that will accelerate our journey towards ‘Outstanding’. The successful candidate will join a strong leadership team, a dynamic staff and a vibrant student cohort. We benefit from a state-of-the-art PFI build that, along with our robust behaviour system, facilitates a calm and positive learning environment.  

The role will lead on our Teaching and Learning Core Aim. We have an experienced, strong team of middle and senior leaders in teaching and learning who are well supported by the CLF on pedagogy, curriculum and assessment. We strive for ‘Outstanding’ at our next inspection and curriculum, teaching and learning are the key drivers for this improvement process. This is an opportunity for the successful candidate to shape this journey. The ability to lead through others is fundamental to the success of this role in order to amplify impact across the Academy; the successful candidate will have a well-resourced team of leaders and support staff to empower this important part of the academy.
