ASSISTANT PRINCIPAL

Contract: Full-time, permanent

Start: September 2024

We are looking to appoint a passionate individual complementing our existing Senior Leadership Team who will bring a level of challenge, innovation and vision to our day to day practice. You will have the ability to connect with people, on every level, within and beyond the federation and be a visible presence in the building, leading by example and demonstrating high expectations for all students and staff.

The successful candidate will demonstrate their ability to lead within challenging circumstances, bring rigour and accountability through effective line management that demonstrates impact and raises aspirations on every level of the Academy. You will be able to analyse and make effective use of a wide range of data and implement strategies based on your interpretation that leads to school improvement.

Bristol Brunel Academy is an oversubscribed, forward-thinking Academy based in Speedwell, Bristol, rated “Good” by Ofsted in June 2023. The Academy celebrates diversity and serves a vibrant multicultural intake. Bristol Brunel’s leadership and staff are passionate about the development of Equality, Diversity and Inclusion and want this to be reflected throughout the Academy, including representation within the staff body. A significant proportion of students are from global majority groups and disadvantaged backgrounds. Students are excited to learn and are real ambassadors for our diverse community.
