Job Title: Cover Coordinator

Actual Annual Salary: £3,903 - £4,207 based on hours and weeks worked.

Full Time Salary: £27,964 - £30,146 (CLF Grade C) based on 37 hours per week, all year round. 

Contract Type: Permanent

Hours: Part-time, 6 hours per week term time only + insets and 1 day during the holidays.

Working Pattern: Thursday and Friday 7-10am

Provisional Start Date: 1 September 2025

We are looking for a passionate and inspiring Cover Coordinator to join our supportive and talented team at Bristol Metropolitan Academy. We are a diverse multi-academy trust, looking for professional and ambitious people, with a passion for transforming our students’ learning.

We are looking for a Cover Coordinator who will effectively administrate the planned and unplanned teaching cover requirements of the Academy. Ensure the cover organised is of a high standard, is cost effective and meets academy needs. Responsible for coordinating lesson cover in line with academy procedures and national guidelines.

About you:

You will have:  

• excellent attention to detail and organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise and manage a varied workload in a fast-paced environment.

• effective use of IT, ideally including management information systems, to support effective delivery of administrative processes. Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, e-mail, keyboard skills and use of the internet.

• experience of working in an administrative role and undertaking a range of administrative tasks

• a good telephone manner

• the ability to work well within a team environment whilst also working on your own initiative. 

• the skills to organise staff cover whilst working under pressure.
