 Maths Lecturer - Maternity Cover

 (Full-time, Fixed Term until June 2022)

We have an exciting opportunity for a talented, highly motivated and enthusiastic Maths Lecturer to join our Maths Department on a fixed-term basis to teach across our Maths and GCSE programmes at BCA. This is an ongoing recruitment-drive and we expect the role to be filled very quickly so please ensure you submit your application ASAP so you don’t miss out!

The candidate will provide 1-2-1 and small group study support sessions for our learners who are re-taking GCSE Maths alongside their chosen topic of study at the College.

The successful candidate will have a strong knowledge of maths and the ability and drive to inspire diverse groups of young people to achieve their full potential. We would also consider an enthusiastic and ambitious Maths graduate looking to put their learning into practice and develop a career in teaching.

Responsibilities will include planning, teaching and assessing students. The successful candidate should have a relevant qualification, and experience of teaching in a classroom setting is desirable. The successful candidate will be adaptable and resourceful, have excellent communication skills, be able to work as part of a team and have good IT skills.

This is a fixed term maternity cover role which is due to end June 2022.
