Animal Management

Lecturer in Animal Care

37 Hours per week, 52 weeks per year

Salary from £30,277.00 to £35,768.00 per annum

Working within our Animal Care department, you will deliver inclusive, responsive and innovative teaching, learning and support to learners. The successful candidate will contribute to teaching on BTEC and City & Guilds modules from Level 1 to Level 3. These are varied courses with a lot to cover so ideally you will be able to demonstrate good practical experience of Animal Health, Exotic Animal Management, Animal Feeding & Accommodation or Animal Nursing.

The ideal candidate will either have a teaching qualification or be prepared to work towards one. You will also have as a minimum a level 5/6 qualification in Animal Sciences/Animal Health as well as a relevant vocational qualification to Level 3.

Previous experience of working in further education and/or with post 16 learners is essential.
