£21,041 to £22,725 per annum (£34,602 to £37,371 pro rata per annum)
Are you a highly motivated individual with strong industry knowledge and experience within the Construction Crafts field looking to work with a team passionate about what they do?
Our Construction department is very well equipped to meet the demands of local employers and we are seeking an experienced assessor to assist with the training of our apprentices on the Level 2 Standard qualifications.
What will you be doing?
Primarily assessing across a range of Standard courses within Construction Crafts.
Assessing work submitted for NVQ completion via our OneFile assessment software across a range of trades at Level 2 including Carpentry, Brickwork, Painting and Decorating. The successful candidate will ensure that all required ‘on-site’ assessments and associated tracking and monitoring activities are undertaken to meet BCoT and Awarding Body criteria.
Developing learner skills and technical understanding.
The successful candidate will have:
• The ability to be adaptable and a highly motivated team player
• Previous experience of working with young people
• A Level 2 qualification in a vocational, construction area
• A teaching qualification (desirable but not essential) and assessors award (essential)
