Join a Trust where your passion for teaching is valued, your creativity is encouraged, and your impact on pupils’ lives truly matters.

Whether you are an experienced teacher or an Early Career Teacher (ECT), we invite you to join our dynamic and expanding team at Cornerstone Academy Trust. Our Trust is nationally and internationally recognised for outstanding and innovative education. We are proud to lead the region’s Department for Education English Hub, supporting schools across the Southwest in delivering excellence in literacy and curriculum development.

We are looking for inspiring and reflective teachers from across all Key stages; Early Years, Key stage 1 & Key stage 2 to start in September. We are seeking to appoint teachers who are passionate about delivering high-quality education and committed to helping every child reach their full potential. Successful candidates will be those who are confident in using a range of teaching strategies and have a strong understanding of the primary curriculum. Creativity, collaboration, and a willingness to embrace digital tools are essential.

We have a trust-wide team of teachers who work together to deliver a knowledge-rich, project-based curriculum. Our schools are equipped with state-of-the-art facilities including dedicated libraries, science and art rooms, TV studios, and forest school areas. Children have access to Microsoft Surface devices, and our digital approach supports both teaching and assessment, reducing workload and enhancing planning.

Our schools offer an exciting, extended and enriched curriculum whilst still focussing on those high expectations for ensuring all children achieve well in reading, writing and maths. From musical theatre and modern foreign languages to climbing, kayaking, and fencing, we ensure every child has the opportunity to discover their strengths.

Teachers are supported by a strong coaching culture, with weekly CPD sessions and a network of colleagues who share planning and resources across the Trust. We also have a strong ECT programme with dedicated mentoring and support from our ECT Lead.

Please indicate your preferred Key Stage within your supporting statement.
