Job Title: Admin Assistant Level 1 

Actual Annual Salary:  £9,307 - £10,145  

Full Time Equivalent Salary: £25,136 - £27,398 (CLF Grade B). 

Contract Type: Permanent 

Hours: Part-time, 16 hours per week, Wednesday and Friday – 8.5 hours per day

We are looking for an Administration Assistant to join our supportive and talented team at Hans Price Academy. We are a diverse multi-academy trust, looking for professional and ambitious people, with a passion for transforming our students’ learning.     

Under the direction of senior staff, the Administration Assistant will provide general administrative and clerical support to the academy, working with SEN, main office and reception. The post holder will be expected to work collaboratively with relevant colleagues to fulfil the requirements of the role and contribute positively to the effective running of the administration function within the academy.      

About you:  

You will have:  

  • Good Literacy and numeracy competency – evidenced by GCSE Maths and English at Grade C 
  • Appropriate First Aid qualification or willing to undertake 
  • Knowledge of good practice regarding compliance/data protection/GDPR 
  • Awareness of policies and procedures relating to child protection, health, safety and security, confidentiality and data protection 
  • Good understanding and ability to use office equipment such as photocopiers

Hans Price Academy is a forward-thinking Academy based in Weston-Super-Mare. The Academy provides education to a rising cohort of around 1050 students at KS3/KS4 from September.
