Belgrave St. Peter's is a friendly and attractive multicultural city primary school with great potential. We are a church school, developing close links with the Diocese of Leicester, and have an ethos steeped in Christian Values. Children typically enter the nursery well below the national average, but increasingly they are leaving the school close to, at, or even exceeding national. An achievement of which we are extremely proud.

Aims and Mission Statement
In reflecting on our aims and our mission statement, we must understand we are not a school for Christians but a multi-ethnic, multi-faith and multi-cultural school which applies Christian values to its mission. We model Jesus’ kingdom values and his relationship with his followers in our relationship to our community, children and their families and carers.
Aims
At Belgrave St. Peter's our visions and values are at the core of everything we do. They underpin our teaching and learning, and provide an environment which prepares our pupils as confident, happy citizens.
We recognise that in a multicultural, multi-ethnic and multi-faith city that the values we hold are not uniquely Christian but rather are shared with many of those around us. What makes our school distinctive is how we understand those values and apply them to our daily lives.
St Peter's holds five key values: Love, trust, faith, honesty and perseverance.
Each of these values is informed by and can be measured against the Christian Tradition.
To summarise:
Rise is a family of schools. We work with and for each other.
We currently comprise of 23 church of England primary schools and 3 community schools, but we would like to further extend our family to non-church schools.
Our schools each have their own vision and values. Many schools had these before they joined the Rise family. These all complement the work of Rise to enable pupils and staff to ‘flourish and succeed’.
We are proud that all our schools are now deemed to be ‘Good’ in the eyes of Ofsted. However, we want that milestone to be a marker on our journey, rather than the destination itself. We want Rise schools to be great schools.
Our family of schools are all different shapes and sizes, serving rich and varied communities and that is one of the many things we love about our Trust.
