Caretaker
30 hours per week, to be worked over 5 days
Permanent, all year round
£24,294 FTE; actual salary £19,698 (NJC point 7). Additional on call allowance payable for weekend and evening duty as part of team rota
Due to the resignation of the current postholder, Uffculme Primary School is looking for a caretaker to join our busy site team. Applicants should have a good knowledge of maintenance, be self-motivated and be prepared to turn their hand to the repairs, emergencies and events that occur on a daily basis.
The role will involve split shift work, with a usual working pattern of 7-10am and 4-6pm daily. Ideally, you will live reasonably close to the school for call-out and emergency purposes.
You will be joining a wider team of caretaking staff and some training and work at Uffculme School (a 5 minute drive from the primary school) will be required.
