Hours: Monday to Friday, hours between 7.30am – 5. 30pm (37 hours per week)
Woking Weeks: Term Time only plus 3 inset days
Salary: £23970 actual (FTE £28282)
The Blackdown Education Partnership is recruiting a Preschool Manager to work at our First Friends Preschool based at Neroche Primary School in Broadway, Somerset.
The aims and ambitions of the Preschool over the next few years are really exciting and we will require a pro-active, problem solving team player to cheerfully get involved to continue the work already being carried out to enhance our successful Preschool for the youngest members of the Neroche community.
As part of this role, you will;
• Work within the general direction of the Headteacher, undertake the full range of managerial duties and responsibilities in the school Preschool; ensuring the provision of high quality childcare, in a caring and stimulating environment,
• Lead in the planning and delivery of activities, monitoring, evaluation and care for children, ensuring that the children's learning and developmental needs are met, and that the Preschool provides a warm, welcoming and supportive environment to the children and their families.
The successful candidate will have;
• A good standard of general education.
• NNED/HNC or NVQ/SVQ Level 3 in Child Care and Education.
• Significant experience in directly working with children in a Care, Early Years or Play setting as a lead practitioner.
