We seek an enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to join our Stafford Leys Primary School soon as possible. We seek a classroom practitioner who will support the Classroom Teacher in managing the class with the individual also supporting the SEN needs within the group.
This role may require working on a 1:1 basis with an individual child. Where this is the case you will be required to work in close collaboration with the teacher, SENDCo, any specialist working with the child and the child's parents/carers to ensure that their needs are fully met.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone to join our support staff team. We are looking to appoint a well-motivated and enthusiastic person who is committed to providing high quality provision to our pupils and the Class Teacher.
The ideal candidate for the role will be NVQ Level 2 qualified or equivalent with demonstrable experience of supporting teaching and learning in an educational setting. The ability to take direction from the Class Teacher to ensure all tasks and learning is undertaken within and outside of the classroom will be essential to being successful in this role.
