An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Apprentice Business Administration to join Broomfield Primary School on a fixed term basis to fall in line with the expected end date of the Business Administration Apprenticeship. The post holder will be required to work Monday – Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm.
The post holder will be required to support the day to day running of the school office providing a professional and efficient front of house service, under the direction of the Office Manager. The successful candidate will undertake tasks such as answering the phone; dealing with parents and visitors; recording attendance and dinners on the MIS system; creating letters; sending emails; filing; and any other administrative tasks as directed by the Office Manager.
This role is a rewarding one with a successful candidate having the opportunity to work alongside an experienced Office Manager in a busy school environment, developing many different business and administration skills whilst undertaking a professional qualification in Business Administration.
The ideal candidate will:
• Have Level 2 qualifications in Maths and English
• Have good communication skills
• Have the ability to multi-task

• Be accurate with attention to detail
• Be professional at all times
• Have the ability to adapt to change quickly
