We seek a Cleaner to join us at Wreake Valley Academy, working 12.5 hours a week across 43 weeks of the year. The individual will be required to work Monday to Friday between the hours of 3.00pm-5.30pm.
This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and hardworking professional to join our team at Wreake Valley to support the school in ensuring that it creates a learning environment that is conducive to learning. A clean workspace is essential and our school would not function without the vital role of our cleaning team.
The successful candidate will be required to perform a variety of regular and one-off cleaning tasks and duties, as directed by the Estates & Compliance Manager, to ensure that a high level of cleanliness is maintained throughout the School on a daily basis. Previous experience of cleaning in a school, office or other commercial building is preferred but not essential, we seek candidates who possess the right attitude and work ethic to join our team, the rest can be taught.
The ideal candidate will:
• Have the ability to manage time effectively to complete tasks to a high level.
• Have the ability to prioritise work.
• Be able to work with minimum supervision.
• Have the ability to work both alone and within a team to achieve specified standards.
• Flexible to changing demands of the post.
