Teaching Assistant with Midday Supervisor Role
Term Time, 21.25 hours per week total, £9,294 per year
17.5 hours per week Teaching Assistant, 8:30am – 12:00
3.75 hours per week Midday Supervisor, 12:00 – 12:45
Start date 4th January 2021
Fixed Term Maternity Cover until 8th October 2021
We seek an enthusiastic, knowledgeable and qualified Teaching Assistant to join us at The Pochin School to cover a period of Maternity Leave.
We are looking for a strong candidate to support teaching and learning. This role is varied, and we are looking for an adaptable, flexible and resourceful individual able to cope in a high-pressure environment and deal with constantly changing priorities. This position also incorporates working with our current excellent team of lunchtime staff.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Experience of working with young children to support and accelerate learning.
- A proven ability to work on their own initiative.
- A high level of communication skills and the ability to relate positively to children and adults.
- A can-do attitude.
