Catering Assistant - Permanent
Salary; NJC Scale 2 point 3 £25,614 - £26.016 pro rata
Actual salary paid; £12,864 - £13,066
21.25 hours per week - term time plus 3 days plus 2 clean down days
10.15am -2.50pm Monday - Friday
We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic assistant to join our busy refectory team. You would be working with the Refectory Manager and other members of the catering team and will play an essential role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the school refectory.
Key responsibilities
1. Food Service and portion control.
2. Cleaning food storage, production and service areas, equipment and utensils.
3. To prepare, distribute and serve (as directed) to designated on site service areas.
4. Stock rotation.
5. Food Storage.
6 To carry out any other reasonable duties at the request of the Catering Manager or Headteacher.
