At St Joseph’s Catholic Primary School we are currently seeking to appoint a School Business Manager (37 hours per week, term time only plus 5 additional days) to be a fundamental part of our wider operations, assisting with key financial operations within a welcoming and supportive environment to the benefit of staff and students.

Salary 37 hrs £32,597 - £35,412 per annum pro rata – actual £27,990 - £30,407
You’ll contribute to key strategic development of the school, taking a lead role in finances, premise management and administration as well as human resource areas, working directly with the Headteacher to manage budgets and procurement strategies as well as overseeing the day-to-day running of the school’s business functions.
Job requirements
• Proven success as a School Business Manager, with a specific related qualification (e.g DBSM, CSBM, ADSBM) and a recognised management or business degree is desirable.
• Experience of working in a financial administrative field
• Forward-thinking and able to work within a team for the benefit of the wider school vision
• Ability to work towards deadlines and towards targets set by the school’s leadership
• Strong communicative skills with an attention to detail.
