St Cuthbert’s Catholic High School is seeking an exceptional Head of Business Studies to lead our successful and aspirational department. The ability to teach Economics would be an advantage.

Our Business Studies department strives to give pupils a well-rounded understanding of the business world, delivering a stimulating learning experience where theories are applied to today’s realities. Through excellent teaching, we equip students with transferable skills for further study and working life, preparing them to thrive in a rapidly changing world.

We are looking for a leader who:

  •  is passionate about the Business Studies curriculum and can teach it in an inspiring way to maximise outcomes and spark curiosity.
  •  understands the power of education to form character as well as knowledge, helping our boys become men of competence, conscience, compassion, and commitment.
  •  can show pupils the difference that business can make in society and encourage them to use their skills for good.
  •  brings energy and vision to extend learning beyond the classroom through co-curricular activities and enrichment opportunities.

This is an opportunity to lead a high-performing, well-established department in an all-boys Catholic school with over 140 years of educational excellence. We welcome applications from experienced leaders and outstanding teachers ready to take on the challenge of leadership.

Why St Cuthbert’s? - because here, we don’t just teach subjects — we form great men, ready to take their rightful place in the world and change it for the better.
