  • We are looking for, two caring and committed individuals to join our team as  lunchtime supervisors
  • We currently have two vacancies for a Supervisory Assistant, Level 1 working 5 hours per week, term time only; normal working hours will be between 12.00 - 1.00 pm

Salary: £24,027 per annum pro rata, actual £2,719 per annum 

This post attracts a Living Wage supplement. In addition to the hourly rate, this post will receive the Living Wage supplement to bring the hourly rate up to a minimum of £12.585.

St Oswald’s has a committed and friendly staff steam, supportive parents and Governors and children who are keen to learn.

You will be part of a team responsible for the monitoring and interaction of play and safety of children during lunchtimes.  This is a very important and rewarding role. We need an enthusiastic and a highly motivated person with excellent communication skills. You need clear strategies to nurture and support pupils’ behaviour. You must have an excellent rapport with children and high expectations of behaviour and safeguarding.

Duties include: 

  • ensuring the lunchtime environment is safe and secure
  • helping younger children to eat and use good table manners
  • supervising and interacting with pupils on the playground to promote positive play
  • maintaining discipline according to school policy.
