At St Vincent’s Catholic Primary, we are seeking to appoint a skilled and highly motivated School Business Manager to join our team of dedicated professionals. We would like to hear from candidates who feel they can demonstrate the characteristics and skills we are looking for and hold the relevant experience to meet the demands of this important role.


Salary

£32,597 - £35,412 per annum, actual £27,275 - £29,630 per annum

37 hours per week, term time only


Job overview

You will contribute to the strategic development of the school: taking a lead role in finances, premises management and administration. Working directly with the Headteacher, you will manage budgets and procurement strategies as well as oversee the day-to-day running of the school’s business functions.


Job requirements

  • Ability to meet deadlines and targets set by the school’s leadership team
  • Excellent ICT skills (Microsoft packages)
  • Experience of finance systems and procedures
  • A working knowledge of Management Information Systems – such as Arbor
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills (written and spoken)
  • Experience of working in a busy school or office environment
