Support Assistant – Level 4 (Inclusion Room)

• Grade: BB05 (Salary Point 13-17)

• FTE Salary: £28,163 - £30,060 Actual Salary: £24,182 - £25,811(pay award pending)

• Working pattern: 37 hours per week, Term time + 5 days

Are you an experienced and dedicated individual with a passion for helping students manage their behaviours through self regulation, re-engage with learning, and succeed in school? We are seeking a calm, consistent, self-motivated Support Assistant – Level 4, to support students in our Inclusion Room. This is a vital role in our pastoral structure, helping to provide immediate self regulation and behaviour support while working to address the root causes of disengagement and disruption.

The Support Assistant - Level 4, will supervise and support students in the Inclusion Room who have not met expectations of the school or classroom environment; promoting positive behaviour, reflection, and reintegration into mainstream lessons. They will maintain a calm, structured and respectful environment that supports learning and accountability. They will work 1:1 or in small groups with students on behaviour strategies and emotional regulation and liaise with teaching staff, pastoral leaders, and the SENCO to support behaviour plans.
