Teaching Assistant (level 2) – 17.5 hours per week (term time only plus 5 Inset days)

Hours: 17.5 hours per week (12-3.30pm Monday to Friday including a lunch duty)
Grade and Salary: JG3 SCP 5 (£19312 FT equivalent, pro rata £7918 per annum)
Applications are invited from experienced teaching assistants, qualified to NVQ level 2 or equivalent for the above post in our outstanding village Primary School.
We are looking for friendly flexible person who will:
- Have high expectations of pupil achievement and will be skilled at supporting Children’s learning in whole class, small groups and 1:1.
- Be enthusiastic about working with children in an educational environment and committed to supporting their learning.
- Have good communication and teamwork skills, able to follow direction from and work collaboratively with teaching staff.
- Have good organisational skills and be able to prepare appealing and effective resources and displays.
