SEN LSA (level 3) – 30 hours per week (term time only)

Location: Stanton Drew Primary, Upper Stanton, Bristol. BS39 4EQ

Closing Date: 5pm Friday 10th May 2024

Start Date: 3rd June 2024 or ASAP

Contract: This post is fixed term for 1 year

Hours: 30 hrs 8:45am – 3:15pm (incl. half hour unpaid lunch) Term time only Monday to Friday

Grade and Salary: JG4, SCP 7 actual salary £17,226 per annum (pro rata)

Advert Details: Applications are invited from experienced learning support assistants, qualified up to NVQ level 3 or equivalent for the above post in our outstanding Primary School. The successful applicant will begin post as soon as possible. This is a SEN support role for children who have an EHCP, working to provide additional support with their learning, communication and social/emotional needs.

The successful candidate will:

• Have high expectations of pupil achievement and will be skilled at supporting a child with a range of learning, social and emotional needs.

• Be enthusiastic about working with children in an educational environment and committed to supporting their learning.

• Have good communication and teamwork skills, and work collaboratively with teaching staff, other support staff and outside agencies.

• Be willing to undertake personal care duties.
