The Role:

We are seeking a nurturing and adaptable Teaching Assistant to join our team at Mangotsfield CofE Primary School, with a focus on supporting pupils who may be experiencing change or transition, including those with unique personal or family circumstances. Working closely with the school’s designated lead, you will help pupils settle into school life, build confidence, and engage with learning through both classroom-based and small group support. You will also assist with planning activities, preparing resources, and promoting emotional wellbeing, while helping the wider school community recognise and understand the diverse experiences of our pupils. This is a meaningful role where you will make a real difference to children’s sense of belonging and their ability to thrive.

Ideally, you will hold a NVQ Level 3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning, or have equivalent experience in a school or educational setting.

If you are a dedicated and compassionate professional who thrives in a collaborative environment, we encourage you to apply.

Please refer to the candidate information pack, available under "Supporting Documents", for more details about the role.
