After School Club Assistant - 13.75 hours per week, term time only. 2.45pm to 5.30pm Monday to Friday, potential for increased hours and additional ad hoc hours
Are you an enthusiastic person looking to work in a friendly school, where wrap around care is fun? We are looking to expand the number of places in our after school club and will be increasing our staff team to enable this. The after school club staff team work hard to give the children the best possible experiences in after school club and we are looking for nurturing, enthusiastic and fun candidates to join our team.
This will initially be a fixed term contract until 31st March 2026.

We are looking for fun and enthusiastic people to work in our popular and established after school club from 2.45 to 5.30pm Monday to Fridays, term time only. There is potential for increased hours and ad hoc hours to cover staff absence.
The successful applicant will:
- be fun, creative and enthusiastic with a love and interest in working with children
- have experience of working with, or volunteering with or looking after children
- use their own initiative to plan exciting activities
- be a team player with excellent communication skills
- be flexible and ready for the challenge of working in new school

This is an ideal opportunity for somebody who is keen to progress a career working in schools or childcare and gain relevant experience of working in a school. If you have sports coach experience or love arts and crafts this could be a great role for you! We are also advertising for breakfast club staff which could be combined with an after school club role.
This appointment will be subject to Enhanced DBS Disclosure; proof of the right to work in the UK and satisfactory references. Please note the proof of right to work in the UK will be required at interview. This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders act 1974 and the amendments to the Exceptions Order 1975, 2013 and 2020.
