An exciting opportunity has arisen for a strong candidate to deputise and support our Lead Practitioner in our 2 to 4 year old Nursery setting at Oaktree Nursery and Primary School . This role will be varied so we are looking for an adaptable, flexible and resourceful individual who is able to cope in a busy Nursery environment.  The successful applicant will be able to support our children who have a wide variety of needs. Care and nurture are at the heart of everything that we do so we are looking for an individual who can clearly demonstrate this ethos.

Job Details:

Building positive relationships with the children being an approachable, caring and supportive role model.

Working within a strong team to deliver excellent nurture 

Contribute to delivering and monitoring of interventions and assessments for individuals and small groups.

Working with the Lead Practitioner to create stimulating classroom displays and learning resources.

Maintaining a safe and positive environment for all learners, with a commitment to Safeguarding for all.

Safeguarding children and supporting their emotional well-being and social development

Working with the Lead Practitioner to create a stimulating and supportive environment

The right candidate will have:

At least Level 3 in a full and relevant qualification

Job Details

This position is on a Permanent basis to start as soon as possible.

The role is based on a L Grade with pay dependent on previous experience.

The role is term-time + TD days (39 weeks per year), with 44.85 paid.

Work Hours are Monday to Friday, 8.30 to 3.30, with 30 minutes for lunch.
