Are you an enthusiastic person looking to work in a friendly school, where teaching and learning is fun and inspiring? 

We are looking to appoint a Teaching Assistant in Key Stage 2 from January 2024.

This role will be on a permanent contract paid on NJC 'K' Grade (£11.85 to £12.60 per hour),  term time plus INSET days (39 working weeks and 44.64 paid weeks per year) working from 8.30am - 3.10pm Monday to Friday including a 30 minute unpaid lunch break and a 30 minute lunch duty paid under a separate contract at NJC J Grade.  This totals 28.35 hours per week as a Teaching Assistant and an additional 2.5 hours per week as an MDSA. 

There may also be an opportunity to work additional hours  in our after school club if the successful candidate were interested.

We are looking for a TA who: 

  • is fun, enthusiastic and committed 
  • is willing to teach creatively and inspire the children 
  • has knowledge and experience of the KS2 primary curriculum 
  • is a team player with excellent communication skills 
  • is flexible and ready for the challenge of working in a growing school
