We are seeking an experienced, caring and dedicated Teacher. The role will predominantly teach core subjects in Year 3-6 but the ability to teach in other areas of the school will be favorably considered.

- To make sure each child progresses at a rate that is fair to expect.
- To teach the class the main academic subjects.
- To prepare children for life and help in forming their character and personality.
- To follow schemes of work which have been laid down for the year and to review these regularly.
- To encourage opportunities for the children to enjoy creative activities in and out of the classroom, i.e. Art, Design and Technology, Drama and Music.
- To create a lively, stimulating classroom through relevant displays of children’s work.
- To keep a record of lessons planned and taught through each term, within and beyond the aims and expectations of the National Curriculum.
- To mark the children’s recorded work thoroughly and systematically.
- To keep records of individual progress in all subjects.
- To meet with colleagues each week to discuss and appraise what is being achieved and to plan ahead.
- To arrange and go on educational visits (including overnight residential trips) with the class when these are relevant to the class work.
- Genuinely enjoy spending time with the wonderful children who attend this school.
