Assistant Teacher – Booker Park School (Vale Federation)

Do you have a passion for helping children overcome challenges and reach their full potential? We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Assistant Teacher to join our team and make a lasting impact on the lives of pupils with Special Educational Needs. You’ll lead whole‑class sessions during teacher absence, support teaching and learning in class & help deliver engaging learning and support pupils’ personal and academic development. Bucks Pay Range 4,

Hours:  37 hrs per week

Work Pattern: Monday/Tuesday/Thursday 8.30am – 4.30pm, Wednesday 8.30am - 5.00pm, Fridays 8.30am - 5.00pm

Weeks: 39 weeks including INSET days

What you’ll do

Support teaching and learning in class

Lead whole‑class sessions during teacher absence

Assist pupils with SEN, including personal care

Create positive relationships and promote independence

Help plan lessons, prepare resources and record progress

Able to follow guidance and take initiative

Willing to undertake training, including clinical procedures
