We are seeking an enthusiastic, compassionate, and resilient Class Teacher to join our dedicated team. This is a fantastic opportunity to teach in a caring and supportive environment where our vision is to support our pupils enabling them to achieve the greatest possible level of independence.


Booker Park Primary Special School is a member of the Vale Federation of Schools, catering for primary aged children with a broad diversity of complex needs. including profound and multiple, severe and moderate learning difficulties. Almost half of the pupils have an additional diagnosis of an autistic spectrum condition. We look for all our young people to be successful learners enabling them to achieve their potential in a caring and supportive environment. 


About the Role:

• Lead a designated class and manage classroom staff.

• Plan and deliver tailored learning to meet individual needs.

• Maintain assessment records and report on progress.

• Work closely with therapists and specialist professionals to support holistic development.

We welcome applications from both primary and secondary sectors, including Early Career Teachers who are interested in developing a career in special education. Full training will be provided for those wishing to specialise in SEN teaching.
