Health & Safety Advisor

The Bosco Catholic Education Trust is at a crucial stage of its future development, supporting and facilitating the success of Catholic schools across Sussex. At present, there are 13 schools in the Trust, 5 more joining over the coming year, and an additional 15 planned.  

This role works closely with the Estates Compliance Manager to provide advice and guidance to schools on all matters relating to health and safety. Recognising that schools vary in their levels of understanding and confidence, our mission is to support and empower school staff to effectively manage the risks they create. 

This role would be ideal for someone who has completed their NEBOSH certificate training and wants to gain experience in a busy and varied academy trust. While experience is not essential, a genuine passion for health and safety and a strong desire to help others is essential. We’re looking for someone who shares our ethos, who is approachable, emotionally intelligent, and thrives on building positive relationships. 

As the Trust continues to grow, the ability to adapt to a changing operating environment is key. Flexibility, a proactive mindset, and a willingness to evolve with the organisation will be vital for success in this role.
