The Role

We are looking to appoint an excellent Upper KS2 teacher to join our Year 6 team and to take on the role of Curriculum leader across the school. We are particularly interested in teachers who are looking to take their first step into whole school leadership. 

We are looking for a teacher who

  • Demonstrates excellent teaching within upper KS2.
  • Has experience of planning for a wide range of need and breadth of ability within an inclusive environment.
  • Has successfully improved teaching and learning across a school through their subject leadership and has an interest in curriculum pedagogy.
  • Is well organised and establishes strong learning routines within their classroom.
  • Has boundless enthusiasm and enjoys working as part of a team.
  • Is willing to become involved in the wider life of the school through providing extra-curricular opportunities.
  • A willingness to undertake further training and professional growth.
  • Believes that champions are built not born.
