Salary: Grade 10, £25,992 - £27,269 FTE per annum (Actual Salary based on weeks worked and hours: £15,105.82 – £15,847.98 p.a.)

Contract: Permanent

Hours: 25 per week, 8.45am – 11..45pm and 12.45pm – 2.45pm (Monday to Friday), term time only to exclude/include INSET days (39 weeks)

The Role

We are looking for a dedicated and resourceful Early Years Teaching Assistant to join our team and contribute to the delivery of high-quality early years provision.

In this role, you will play a vital part in helping all pupils access learning effectively, working closely with teaching staff to support children’s development. You will receive ongoing training and support to develop your skills, enabling you to deliver engaging and effective learning experiences.

The successful candidate will:

✅ Be passionate about making a difference to all children 

✅ Have experience supporting children’s learning, ideally within a school or classroom environment, this can be voluntary

✅ Be aspirational for every child and believe that all pupils can learn – even if they haven’t learnt something yet 

✅ Be flexible and able to adapt their practice to support effective learning 

✅ Build strong, positive relationships with colleagues and children

✅ Be a reflective practitioner with a strong desire to learn and continually improve

Fluency Duty 

This post is covered by Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) and therefore the ability to converse at ease with pupils, parents and other users and provide advice in accurate spoken English is essential for the post.
