Salary: Grade 13, £24,796 FTE per annum (Actual Salary based on weeks worked and hours: £3,746.20 p.a.)

Contract: Permanent

Hours: 6 Hours 40 Minutes per week, 12.05 am – 13.25 pm Monday to Friday, term time only to exclude INSET days (38 weeks)

The Role:

Emersons Green Primary School are seeking a dedicated and reliable Lunchbreak Supervisor to join their hard-working and supportive staff team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety, welfare, and positive behaviour of pupils during the lunchtime period.

The successful candidate will:

• Be enthusiastic, self-motivated, and possess a positive 'can-do' attitude.
• Demonstrate strong teamwork skills while also capable of using initiative. Have excellent communication skills.
• Maintain warmth, care, and full commitment to children's safety and wellbeing.
• Consistently maintain a calm approach in interactions with children.
• Support the school's approach to outdoor play, embracing our 'whatever the weather' ethos.
• Act as a vital link between children, lunchbreak staff, and other school staff.
• Be willing to fully participate in training and professional development.

Fluency Duty:

This post is covered by Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) and therefore the ability to converse at ease with pupils and other users and provide advice in accurate spoken English is essential for the post.
